Indications: If a bacterial superinfection is suspected

amoxicillin + clavulanic acid IV 1000/200 mg 4 times daily 10 days

or

amoxicillin + clavulanic acid oral 500/125 mg 3 times daily 10 days
≥ 18 years

Indications: If a secondary bacterial infection is suspected

Contraindications: Allergy to penicillins*
