Use albendazole during pregnancy and breastfeeding: probably safe in pregnancy (2nd and 3rd trimesters) and during breastfeeding
Albendazole is licensed for children from 6 years of age. In children between 1 and 6 years albendazole has been extensively used worldwide and may be considered (Keijzer et al).
Take albendazole with a fatty meal (increased absorption).
