Concerns bladder instillations. Dissolve 80 mg in 20 ml NaCl 0.9%, see also Bladder instillation with medication: nursing procedure (version 2) Administer in the evening after catheterisation, before going to bed. Leave in the bladder overnight until the next micturition or catheterisation. |

3rd choice: Chondroitin sulphate 80 mg bladder instillation [2,3].
Weeks 1–6: weekly
Thereafter monthly (6x)
Administer 40 ml 0.2% Gepan. chondroitin sulphate via a bladder catheter into the empty bladder. Remove the bladder catheter and leave the fluid in the bladder for as long as possible (at least 30 minutes, maximum 4 hours).
