Comments

Provide tetanus prophylaxis for animal bites and if the patient is not or incompletely vaccinated against tetanus or if there is immunosuppression: including untreated HIV infection, transplantation (organ/stem cell/bone marrow) in the past, (haematological) malignancy, asplenia, multiple sclerosis, medication (immunosuppressants, (sometimes up to a year after use of) cytostatics).
