Comments

NHG guideline:

Supportive agent: e.g. hypromellose eye drops, 3.2 mg/ml, up to 4 times daily, 1 drop.



In case of recent eye surgery, chronic infectious eye disease or an immunocompromised patient: chloramphenicol eye drops (0.5%, 1-2 drops every 2-4 hours) or chloramphenicol ointment (1%, 2-4 times daily), until 2 days after recovery (max. 14 days).
