Indications: For non-clean procedures, For breast surgery, For procedures involving prosthetic material

1st choice	cefazolin iv 2 g single dose	Extended prophylaxis 5 days amoxicillin/clavulanic acid 3 times daily 500/125 mg
2nd choice	clindamycin iv 600 mg single dose or vancomycin iv 1000 mg single dose	If (suspected) allergy to cefazolin * Extended prophylaxis 5 days amoxicillin/clavulanic acid 3 times daily 500/125 mg.
